AASHE Events Assistant, and Web Developer

Events Manager

AASHE is seeking a part-time events assistant to help with the development of AASHE's yearly conference and other events. Duties will include creating conference comparison reports; overseeing and formatting a contact database of multiple audiences; gathering and creating content for AASHE conference announcements, mass emails and website; and promoting and planning portions of the conference including the AASHE Student Summit. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience with event-planning, communications, hospitality and/or project management. AASHE is accepting applications for a full-time web application developer. This position will build web-based software that helps AASHE’s members, colleges and universities to collaborate, share information and measure progress toward sustainability goals. Successful candidates will a have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information sciences or similar curriculum with a software development emphasis and three years of combined relevant post-secondary education or work experience.
